DraftSix apps have a per-app privacy stub rather than a policy, because the apps do not exist yet and cannot honestly describe what they store.
There is nothing to disclose yet
Dealer & Stockist Portal is currently a scoped concept. No code has been written, nothing is installed on any store, and no data of any kind is being collected. Publishing a policy now would mean inventing one, and a privacy policy that describes a system that does not exist is worse than no policy at all.
What will be here
When the app is built, this page will set out, specifically:
- which Shopify permissions it requests, and which feature each one is for;
- exactly what it stores, in its own words rather than in categories;
- how long each kind of data is kept, and what deletes itself automatically;
- which service providers process anything on our behalf;
- what uninstalling removes.
For a sense of the standard being aimed at, the Store Locator Pro privacy summary is written for a shipped app.
