Who these cover

“Appnux”, “we” and “us” mean the business operating appnux.com and publishing the apps listed on it. “You” means whoever is reading this site or using one of those apps — usually a Shopify merchant or someone acting for one.

Using this website means you accept these terms. Installing an app means you accept them for that app as well.

Using this website

This is a public marketing site. You may read it, link to it, and quote it with attribution. Please do not scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, use it to distribute malware, or copy its design and pass it off as your own.

The site describes apps at different stages of development, and it labels those stages on every card. Descriptions of apps that are not yet built are statements of design intent. They are not commitments to build, to a feature set, to a price or to a date.

Using the apps

Each Appnux app is installed into a Shopify store, and its use is also governed by Shopify’s own terms and by the permissions you grant at install. You are responsible for the content you put into an app — your locations, your text, your images — and for having the right to use it.

You agree not to:

• use an app to store or publish unlawful content, or content you do not have rights to;
• attempt to circumvent plan limits, billing, or another merchant’s data boundary;
• resell an app’s functionality as your own service without a written agreement.

Plans and billing

Subscriptions are handled by Shopify billing, not by us. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice, and upgrades, downgrades and cancellations are made through your Shopify admin.

Where a free trial is offered, its length is stated on the app’s page and on the Shopify listing. Cancelling during a trial means you are not charged. Refunds after that follow Shopify’s process; where we have discretion, we will use it reasonably — if an app did not do what this site said it does, tell us.

Prices may change. If a price changes for a plan you are already on, you will be told before it takes effect and you can leave rather than accept it.

Support

Support is provided by email at support@appnux.com and through the contact form. We aim to reply within one to two business days.

That is a target, not a service level agreement. Appnux is a small business and does not offer a guaranteed response time, an uptime credit scheme, or 24-hour cover. We would rather say that plainly than publish a promise we cannot keep.

Availability

We work to keep the apps running and correct, but they are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that any app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Shopify theme, and we may change or discontinue features. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will tell you before it happens.

Your data

Your store data stays yours. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train anything. How each app handles data is set out in its own privacy policy; how this website handles it is in our privacy policy.

Uninstalling an app triggers deletion of the data that app held for your store, in line with Shopify’s requirements for app developers.

Intellectual property

The apps, this website, and the Appnux name and marks belong to Appnux. Your content belongs to you, and installing an app grants us only the permission needed to operate the app for you — nothing broader.

Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc. Appnux is an independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify Inc.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Appnux is not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost profits, lost sales or lost data — arising from use of an app or this website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Ending things

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin, which also ends the subscription. We may suspend or end access if these terms are being broken in a way that harms other merchants or the service — and we will tell you why.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and continued use after that means acceptance. Changes are not applied retroactively to a dispute that already exists.
