Add the store locator to your theme

Use the theme-editor shortcut

Open the app Home page and choose Add block to my theme. The shortcut opens the theme editor with the Store locator map block already added to the page template. Press Save in the theme editor to publish the change.

Add the block by hand

In the theme editor, choose Add block inside a section, then Apps, then Store locator map.

The locator is an app block, not an app embed. It is expected that Theme settings → App embeds says no app embeds are installed; look under Add block → Apps inside a section instead.

If the map is empty

The map needs at least one location with coordinates. If locations have already been imported, check the Locations page for a Failed geocoding status and repair those pins before checking the storefront again.
