Privacy and data FAQ
What Shopify data can the app access?
There are no required Shopify data scopes at installation. Optional permissions are requested only when you enable Shopify location sync or Find in store. The app never asks for access to customers or orders.
Shopify location sync reads your own location names, addresses and coordinates. Find in store reads product and inventory data needed to show availability at synced locations.
What does the app store?
The app stores the merchant's locations, configuration and import jobs. Locator analytics do not include shopper identity and retain only rounded approximate coordinates where location is relevant; those rows are deleted after 90 days.
Stockist forms contain business contact details. Shopper inquiries contain a name, email address and message, so that optional feature handles personal data. Handled inquiries are deleted 90 days after closure and verified erasure requests are processed immediately.
What happens on uninstall or in support?
The uninstall process schedules the shop's app data for cleanup. The public privacy policy in the app remains the governing source for exact retention and deletion terms.
If the in-app support assistant is configured, a support question, recent conversation and relevant documentation may be sent to Google's model service to generate an answer. Do not put secrets or customer personal data in a support question.
